The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fc Sighet Alexandra's Manole Bungescu got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 8th minute Eric Birișu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bogdan Hârtopanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute, one of Ialovita CS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Ialovita CS. The referee gave Fc Sighet Alexandra a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Eric Birișu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Ialovita CS's Bogdan Hârtopanu. 0-1. If Leonard Jivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Cristian Tirulescu came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Fc Sighet Alexandra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Tirulescu couldn't finish the play. Bogdan Hârtopanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manole Bungescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. If Leonard Jivulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th minute Marin Gheorghiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Codrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Ialovita CS's zone, Leonard Jivulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bogdan Hârtopanu came out of the goal and Leonard Jivulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manole Bungescu struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Bogdan Hârtopanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Fc Sighet Alexandra. Sebastian Codrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alin Ţintă in the 34th minute of play. Bogdan Hârtopanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eric Birișu in the 37th minute of the match. Manole Bungescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Bogdan Hârtopanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Sighet Alexandra's Iulian Sărăroiu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manole Bungescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Hârtopanu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Alin Ţintă made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Manole Bungescu made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Hârtopanu. Ialovita CS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Eric Birișu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fc Sighet Alexandra's supporters rose to their feet, but Eric Birișu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bogdan Hârtopanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eric Birișu in the 58thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bogdan Hârtopanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 60th minute, Alin Muscă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With his leg Bogdan Hârtopanu managed to avoid a goal in the 64thth minute, when Fc Sighet Alexandra's Eric Birișu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lucian Orghidan in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Codrea prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Orghidan in the 67th minute of play forced Fc Sighet Alexandra's goalkeeper Sebastian Codrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Codrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Ţintă in the 70th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Eric Birișu made a precise shot to the right of Bogdan Hârtopanu. Ialovita CS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. A collision led to Ialovita CS getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Emilian Bara hit a great ball. Bogdan Hârtopanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eric Birișu in the 83rd minute. Leonard Jivulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Bogdan Hârtopanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fc Sighet Alexandra's Leonard Jivulescu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fc Sighet Alexandra played a much better game than Ialovita CS and deserved their victory. The Ialovita CS players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
