Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tudor Curtean made the kick off and thus started the match. The supporters of Chibulcut booed when FC Valahia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolae Berceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaţiu Tomulescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8th minute, Iosif Cângea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 10 played minutes Chibulcut got a freekick which was hit by Gică Jupâneanu. 0-1 came in the 12th minute when Manuel Toader all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Cezar Moți. Cezar Moți showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicolae Berceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 18th minute, Nicolae Berceanu made a precise shot to the right of Cezar Moți. Chibulcut's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 21st minute, Manuel Toader left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Valahia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Lucrețiu Luican fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Bârlă having to interfere. Nicolae Berceanu scored 0-4 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cezar Moți, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 36th minute of the match FC Valahia got a corner. Chibulcut's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Manuel Toader ran over to the corner to take the kick. Liviu Bucataru hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, FC Valahia's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Cângea came free, but Horaţiu Bârlă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezar Moți didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Irinel Ilie went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-5 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicolae Berceanu was the one to do the kick off. Cezar Moți took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Irinel Ilie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, FC Valahia's Liviu Bucataru got a free kick in the 58th minute. Lucrețiu Luican hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute, Nicolae Berceanu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Valahia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. FC Valahia made a substitution. Gavril Panaitoiu replaced Manuel Toader. Nicolae Berceanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 84 played minutes FC Valahia got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Bucataru. Iosif Cângea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Bârlă having to interfere. FC Valahia's Nicolae Berceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Horaţiu Bârlă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Luican in the 93rd minute of play. Chibulcut's Iosif Cângea got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Iosif Cângea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Chibulcut manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing FC Valahia to win.
