Bálint Rigó received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Iordache Aplugăriței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 9 minutes into the match, Pietrestii's goal looked a bit too open when Iosif Hurgoi came free, but Paul Stafie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bálint Rigó had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 14 minutes into the match, Copaciu's goalkeeper Iordache Aplugăriței had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bálint Rigó. Pietrestii's Paul Stafie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aron Burnei in the 16th minute of play. Paul Stafie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aron Burnei, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Paul Pogba in the 29th minute of play forced Copaciu's goalkeeper Iordache Aplugăriței to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iordache Aplugăriței breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Copaciu's goalkeeper Iordache Aplugăriței, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute, Paul Pogba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iordache Aplugăriței was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. With his leg Iordache Aplugăriței managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Pietrestii's Bálint Rigó fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aron Burnei made a kick off. The supporters of Copaciu booed when Pietrestii was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bálint Rigó didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Pogba in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Aplugăriței saved Copaciu from getting behind. In the 58th minute, Paul Pogba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Pogba in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iordache Aplugăriței prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 69th minute, Iosif Hurgoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bálint Rigó recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 72nd match minute, Pietrestii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigel Zărnescu to maneuver through the defense. 73 minutes into the match, Pietrestii's goalkeeper Paul Stafie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florin Lupșoiu. Florin Lupșoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paul Stafie having to interfere. 77 minutes into the match, Pietrestii's goal looked a bit too open when Aron Burnei came free, but Paul Stafie reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paul Pogba in the 80th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iordache Aplugăriței saved Copaciu from getting behind. Paul Pogba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Stafie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aron Burnei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paul Stafie made a fantastic save in the 89th minute, when Florin Lupșoiu sent off a good shot on target. Pietrestii's Paul Stafie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 91st minute of the match, managed to save Pietrestii from getting a goal against them. In the 97th minute Cristian Gugulanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paul Stafie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
