Claudiu Oroveanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Vuia, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Dinu Vuia put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Claudiu Oroveanu. Sever Afloarei took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Claudiu Oroveanu. Claudiu Oroveanu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Aurel Milea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mihai Şuţu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 55 minutes into the match, FC Romelinha's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Milea came free, but Valer Mereuță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Romelinha's Valer Mereuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Milea in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of FC Romelinha booed when Izimsea was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicu Vancea didn't get a good kick on the ball. Claudiu Oroveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Grigore, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Manuel Petrulean in the 72nd play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Claudiu Oroveanu kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 0-5 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. Aurel Milea's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Valer Mereuță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. If Ivan Grigore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Romelinha's Valer Mereuță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Maftei in the 84th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Romelinha's Doru Dragnea got a free kick in the 84th minute. When Sever Afloarei fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Romelinha's protests and gave Sever Afloarei a yellow card for diving instead. Ivan Grigore's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Claudiu Oroveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Sever Afloarei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Claudiu Oroveanu. That made the score 0-6 in the 89 minute of play. A hard shot 97 in the game by Dinu Vuia from a close distance when the talented Claudiu Oroveanu managed to make a qualified save. Izimsea's players were relieved. When the final whistle sounded FC Romelinha left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Izimsea.
