Spectators: 6716 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1716, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Traian Mihoc took the kick off in the first half of the match. Eduard Macamete hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Gigel Culiță came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by fc.rasnov's Ted Herrero. But to his dismay, Ted Herrero quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th match minute, Badacin CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Iordănescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 12th match minute, fc.rasnov was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Marincean to maneuver through the defense. In the 13th minute of the match Codruț Ioneasa shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ian Riach showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristinel Chiliman took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ian Riach. Ian Riach dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 21st minute Traian Mihoc shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigel Culiță saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Badacin CSS's Martin Iordănescu got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Martin Iordănescu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Codruț Ioneasa lost his temper 28 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 28th minute, one of Badacin CSS:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Badacin CSS. In the 32nd minute, Cristinel Chiliman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gigel Culiță took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Mihoc, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When fc.rasnov's Traian Mihoc in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Badacin CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Gigel Culiță didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Traian Mihoc went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Martin Iordănescu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After the first half fc.rasnov were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The audience was convinced that Traian Mihoc's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigel Culiță was relentless in the 56th minute of the game. With a little luck, Badacin CSS's Gigel Culiță got control of the ball when Ted Herrero tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eduard Macamete kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. fc.rasnov's Traian Mihoc got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ted Herrero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Gigel Culiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ted Herrero came free with the goalkeeper in the 75th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Gigel Culiță could save by the left post. Leontin Firoiu hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 80 minutes, Cristinel Chiliman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Badacin CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristinel Chiliman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Traian Mihoc took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Gigel Culiță to make any attempt to save it. If Traian Mihoc had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Traian Mihoc might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gigel Culiță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Traian Mihoc ran back to his position shaking his head. Gigel Culiță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Traian Mihoc's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When fc.rasnov's Traian Mihoc in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Badacin CSS's goalie prevented a goal. fc.rasnov's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
