Spectators: 6705 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1705, VIP seats: 0) Gigel Culiță came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Cirstovani's Zenon Setara. But to his dismay, Zenon Setara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th of the match, Fabian Ionășescu tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Gică Păltineanu got in the way and made a wonderful save. Gică Păltineanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cristinel Chiliman went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. 20 minutes into the game, Fabian Ionășescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Badacin CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cirstovani the free kick. In the 20th match minute, Badacin CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabian Ionășescu to maneuver through the defense. Zenon Setara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zenon Setara struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Gigel Culiță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cirstovani. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Iordănescu in the 32nd minute of play forced Cirstovani's goalkeeper Gică Păltineanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes, Filip Caraiman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cirstovani and the Badacin CSS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cirstovani's Filip Caraiman got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Gică Păltineanu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Codruț Ioneasa. The goalkeeper, Gică Păltineanu, was totally fooled by Badacin CSS's Codruț Ioneasa, who 43 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 46th minute Fabian Ionășescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Păltineanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabian Ionășescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Gică Păltineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabian Ionășescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Cristinel Chiliman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Badacin CSS getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Cătălin Aldulescu hit a great ball. Gigel Culiță showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Herbert Dalman in the 90th minute of the match. In the 91st minute, Martin Iordănescu made a precise shot to the right of Gică Păltineanu. Cirstovani's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Cirstovani's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
