Spectators: 6704 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 0) Viitoru CSM's Ivan Ponta started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Iustin Arsenescu fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Viitoru CSM's protests and gave Iustin Arsenescu a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Viitoru CSM's Iustin Arsenescu got a free kick in the 4th minute. Viitoru CSM's Eduard Curta proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 5th minute of the match, managed to save Viitoru CSM from getting a goal against them. In the 7th match minute, Carlibaba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Crăciunaș to maneuver through the defense. If Ivan Ponta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 11 minutes into the game, one of Carlibaba:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Horaţiu Ciocârlan came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Viitoru CSM's Gigel Iftodi. But to his dismay, Gigel Iftodi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 17 minutes into the match, Carlibaba's goal looked a bit too open when Ivan Ponta came free, but Horaţiu Ciocârlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduard Curta made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Victor Agusoaei sent off a good shot on target. Octav Bidulescu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 20 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 19th minute of the game. One of Viitoru CSM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Carlibaba:s goal. Eduard Curta went to the wrong direction when Mircea Buzoianu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Agusoaei in the 24th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Eduard Curta saved Viitoru CSM from getting behind. 27 minutes into the match, Carlibaba's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Udrea came free, but Horaţiu Ciocârlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Viitoru CSM's goalkeeper Eduard Curta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Victor Agusoaei. Victor Agusoaei in the 31stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eduard Curta, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fabian Aalexoaiei's late challenge caught a Viitoru CSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Aalexoaiei helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Carlibaba fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 35th minute. Penalty! After 39 played minutes Viitoru CSM got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Mailat. Eduard Curta didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 44th minute, which inside left pole to 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gică Crăciunaș to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Ivan Ponta fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Horaţiu Ciocârlan, passed just outside the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vintilă Pârcălab during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 55th minute, Vintilă Pârcălab hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 58th minute Emanuel Arapașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Horaţiu Ciocârlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eduard Curta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Crăciunaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Isac Udrea could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Horaţiu Ciocârlan made a huge save. Victor Agusoaei scored 2-2 in the 65th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Eduard Curta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Horaţiu Ciocârlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Ponta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Horaţiu Ciocârlan was a little too slow when Emanuel Arapașu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 69th minute. The score was now 2-3. Isac Udrea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Horaţiu Ciocârlan having to interfere. In the 77th minute, Gică Crăciunaș made a precise shot to the right of Eduard Curta. Viitoru CSM's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Eduard Curta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Crăciunaș, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Viitoru CSM's Ivan Ponta was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 82nd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Eduard Curta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Agusoaei in the 86th minute of play. In the 95th minute Gică Crăciunaș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eduard Curta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Viitoru CSM's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
