Viorel Gherdan's late challenge caught a Rimniceanca AS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viorel Gherdan helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Rimniceanca AS getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Denis Roşca hit a great ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Radu Petruț was the one to do the kick off. Rimniceanca AS's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
