When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mugur Dima made a kick off. When Niculae Dobrotă fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pitulusa CSS's protests and gave Niculae Dobrotă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Titirigi booed when Pitulusa CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Niculae Dobrotă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pitulusa CSS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Titirigi the free kick. Sever Goanță was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 96th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Pitulusa CSS's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
