Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Pitulusa CSS's Ionel Urducea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Titulescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gelu Zafiu's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After 6 minutes, Cazimir Finteșteanu made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Pitulusa CSS's David Titulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 13thth minute of the game Cazimir Finteșteanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pitulusa CSS's David Titulescu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 15th minute Gelu Zafiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Titulescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pitulusa CSS's zone, Gelu Zafiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Titulescu came out of the goal and Gelu Zafiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. David Titulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cazimir Finteșteanu went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Pitulusa CSS's zone, Gelu Zafiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Titulescu came out of the goal and Gelu Zafiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 28th match minute, Pitulusa CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Urducea to maneuver through the defense. David Titulescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Zafiu in the 30th minute of play. Sergiu Tăcutu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. Pitulusa CSS's Iurie Colin shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 33rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Sorin Sărăroiu but with some difficulty. Gelu Zafiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. David Titulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mucheni UFC's Cazimir Finteșteanu got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th minute, Gelu Zafiu made a precise shot to the right of David Titulescu. Pitulusa CSS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. David Titulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Zafiu went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-5 was the resulting score. After some careless play in the Pitulusa CSS defense, Gelu Zafiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Titulescu. The Pitulusa CSS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Titulescu should have stopped the shot. After the first half Mucheni UFC were leading 0-6. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gelu Zafiu to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, Mucheni UFC's Claudiu Nedelciu got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 56th match minute, Pitulusa CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ionel Urducea to maneuver through the defense. David Titulescu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Mucheni UFC's Gelu Zafiu. But to his dismay, Gelu Zafiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-7. Mucheni UFC's Gelu Zafiu got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 63 played minutes Pitulusa CSS got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Urducea. In the 64th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitulusa CSS's goalkeeper David Titulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 66th minute, Teodor Chiliman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. David Titulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. The supporters of Pitulusa CSS booed when Mucheni UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Viorel Pavel didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Sărăroiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Horaţiu Fulga, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. In the 80th play minute Gelu Zafiu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised David Titulescu. 0-10. David Titulescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Zafiu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-11 was the resulting score. After 88 played minutes, Pitulusa CSS's Niculae Dobrotă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sorin Sărăroiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pitulusa CSS reached it. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pitulusa CSS's goalkeeper David Titulescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gelu Zafiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Titulescu having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Mucheni UFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Pitulusa CSS.
