Spectators: 7408 (Terracing: 5556, Seating: 1704, VIP seats: 148) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Iulian Armeanca took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iulian Armeanca in the 4th minute of play forced U.Craiova's goalkeeper Sever Siadbei to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mădălin Gabor came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Ciuchiciu SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Gabor couldn't finish the play. Iustin Golumbean hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Iulian Armeanca might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sever Siadbei. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iulian Armeanca ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, Ciuchiciu SC's Constantin Şoimu got a free kick in the 13th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Ivan during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ciuchiciu SC's Mădălin Gabor got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isac Herescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Filip Mironov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ciuchiciu SC getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Răzvan Gherasescu hit a great ball. Mădălin Gabor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Siadbei having to interfere. If Mădălin Gabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sever Siadbei came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by Ciuchiciu SC's Iulian Armeanca. But to his dismay, Iulian Armeanca quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Iulian Armeanca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Costel Hortopan made a kick off. After having played for 52 minutes, Isac Herescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. U.Craiova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Isac Herescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Costel Hortopan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filip Mironov having to interfere. In the 59th minute, Iulian Armeanca fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sever Siadbei, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, U.Craiova's Iustin Golumbean got a free kick in the 64th minute. 65 minutes into the match, Ciuchiciu SC's Claudiu Crișan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Costel Hortopan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Filip Mironov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Ciuchiciu SC's Iulian Armeanca in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye U.Craiova's goalie prevented a goal. If Mădălin Gabor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80th minute Iulian Armeanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Siadbei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mădălin Gabor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 81stth minute tested the skills of Sever Siadbei when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Iulian Armeanca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Sever Siadbei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute Iulian Armeanca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sever Siadbei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 92nd match minute, Ciuchiciu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Oniga to maneuver through the defense. In the 95th minute Isac Herescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filip Mironov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Hortopan might have been able to make a better finish in the 97th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filip Mironov. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costel Hortopan ran back to his position shaking his head. The U.Craiova fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ciuchiciu SC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
