The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgar Cristescu was the one to do the kick off. Caseiu's Tiberiu Boștină played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Măcriș in the 55th minute of play. Tiberiu Boștină came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Vierasi CSM's Vali Măcriș. But to his dismay, Vali Măcriș quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Leonard Buzoianu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Mircea Stanca sent off a good shot on target. In the 67th minute, Caseiu's Mircea Stanca dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. When Cristian Alexandroae came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Vierasi CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Alexandroae couldn't finish the play. If Cristian Alexandroae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 81 minutes into the match, Vali Măcriș had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tiberiu Boștină. Caseiu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vali Măcriș was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Vali Măcriș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Tiberiu Boștină tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 87th minute Vali Măcriș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiberiu Boștină saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Vierasi CSM's Cristian Alexandroae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tiberiu Boștină narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
