Mihail Mustață didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Vasiiesti UFC. Ovidiu Urdeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Mihail Mustață tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Mustață didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Beltran went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marciano Beltran got free with Mihail Mustață in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cosmin Liviu was extremely unlucky when he, in the 15th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Mihail Mustață made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marciano Beltran sent off a good shot on target. After 21 played minutes Vasiiesti UFC got a freekick which was hit by Paul Honcioiu. When Cosmin Liviu came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Vasiiesti UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosmin Liviu couldn't finish the play. Isac Moscu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ciprian Lucănescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosmin Liviu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Gemenele defense, Marciano Beltran kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihail Mustață. The Gemenele fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihail Mustață should have stopped the shot. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bogdan Băsescu made a kick off. Mihail Mustață took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Liviu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vasiiesti UFC's Paul Honcioiu got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihail Mustață showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marciano Beltran, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. When the match clock showed 61 minutes, the score became 5-0 when Cosmin Liviu sped through Gemenele's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mihail Mustață. The supporters of Vasiiesti UFC booed when Gemenele was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ciprian Lucănescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cosmin Liviu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Vasiiesti UFC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Ivan Vişan hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Marciano Beltran managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vasiiesti UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marciano Beltran was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihail Mustață breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Vasiiesti UFC getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Ivan Vişan hit a great ball. 85 minutes into the game, Paul Honcioiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vasiiesti UFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gemenele the free kick. After a rather tough play, Vasiiesti UFC's Paul Honcioiu got a free kick in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bogdan Băsescu in the 86th minute of play forced Vasiiesti UFC's goalkeeper Isac Moscu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Cosmin Liviu made a precise shot to the right of Mihail Mustață. Gemenele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Gemenele's Mihail Mustață played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Beltran in the 94th minute of play. There was no doubt that Vasiiesti UFC were the better team. Vasiiesti UFC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
