An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Drăghincescu in the 16th minute of play forced Ghirolt's goalkeeper Valeriu Budianu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tudor Amărculesei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nicodim Luican, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Tudor Amărculesei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gigel Penescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
