But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Vintilă Encuțu couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Călin Ortacu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but George Vidican was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Vilgot Abrahamsson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Ivan Popoacă made a huge save. If Horia Harbuz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 20th minute, Vilgot Abrahamsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vilgot Abrahamsson in the 23rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ivan Popoacă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 24 minutes, Andreas Herzog mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the F.C RVL and the Chelis FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chelis FC's Vlad Cârțan got a free kick in the 28th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Vilgot Abrahamsson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C RVL's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vilgot Abrahamsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After having played for 56 minutes, Emil Solibieda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ivan Popoacă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Filip Mușătescu's shot from short distance in the 66th minute. Claudiu Şimonca hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Ivan Popoacă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Iulian Tatulici, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Călin Ortacu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ivan Popoacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vintilă Encuțu in the 80th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Vilgot Abrahamsson in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ivan Popoacă saved Chelis FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Vintilă Encuțu managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C RVL's supporters rose to their feet, but Vintilă Encuțu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivan Popoacă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sever Răduțu during the 84th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Chelis FC's Sever Răduțu got a free kick in the 84th minute. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Vintilă Encuțu sped through Chelis FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ivan Popoacă. F.C RVL walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
