The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. PANDURII JUGUR's Emil Stănică got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denis Todoran made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francisc Rogozea in the 9th minute. 16 minutes into the game, PANDURII JUGUR's Nichifor Şerbănescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marin Dudea made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ştefan Dedu got free with Denis Todoran in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Francisc Rogozea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Denis Todoran made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iacob Baldu in the 23rd minute of play. Iacob Baldu's late challenge caught a PANDURII JUGUR's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iacob Baldu helped the player get up and apologised. Emil Stănică received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Marin Dudea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Emil Stănică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 39thth minute of the game Emil Stănică who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ---Feel THE Vibe---'s Marin Dudea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emil Stănică's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marin Dudea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Iacob Baldu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Denis Todoran came out and tried to block the shot, but Iacob Baldu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 48th minute. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Eugen Nedelea made the kick off in the second half. Emil Stănică recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Eugen Nedelea kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marin Dudea. That made the score 1-2 in the 58 minute of play. 62 minutes into the game, Nichifor Şerbănescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Marin Dudea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 65 played minutes PANDURII JUGUR got a freekick which was hit by Eraldo Mauro. In the 69th minute of the match, Eugen Nedelea tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marin Dudea saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Emil Stănică struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Marin Dudea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for PANDURII JUGUR. Eugen Nedelea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marin Dudea made an important save on a dangerous shot by Emil Stănică in the 78th minute. If Eugen Nedelea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PANDURII JUGUR's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
