Robert Baștină didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gelu Otopeanu went, in the 13th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Otopeanu in the 18th minute of play forced Batrinu AFC's goalkeeper Robert Baștină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Corneliu Bunoaică kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. With a little luck, Batrinu AFC's Robert Baștină got control of the ball when Eugen Enoiu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jedd's Eugen Enoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Enoiu in the 60th minute of play forced Batrinu AFC's goalkeeper Robert Baștină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Horaţiu Gabrea's late challenge caught a Jedd's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Horaţiu Gabrea helped the player get up and apologised. Horaţiu Gabrea hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute, Eugen Enoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jedd fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Jedd's Dan Murgan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mihai Leu, made in the 79th minute of the game. 84 minutes into the match, Batrinu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Eugen Enoiu came free, but Robert Baștină reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eugen Enoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Robert Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Otopeanu in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sandu Cozmâncă in the 92nd minute of play forced Batrinu AFC's goalkeeper Robert Baștină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Batrinu AFC's Robert Baștină played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Murgan in the 93rd minute of play. After 94 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Batrinu AFC! Jedd's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
