Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teodor Domuță kicked off to start the match. Cătălin Bădila's late challenge caught a Batrinu AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cătălin Bădila helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Batrinu AFC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Mihai Leu hit a great ball. Robert Baștină made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Domuță in the 12th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Pompiliu Vrânceanu got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Robert Baștină quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some careless play in the Batrinu AFC defense, Pompiliu Vrânceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robert Baștină. The Batrinu AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robert Baștină should have stopped the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Pompiliu Vrânceanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sincraieni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Pompiliu Vrânceanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Dacian Andriescu fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Batrinu AFC's protests and gave Dacian Andriescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 22 played minutes Batrinu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Andriescu. 23 minutes into the match, Batrinu AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Vrânceanu came free, but Robert Baștină reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Baștină didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pompiliu Vrânceanu went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After 31 minutes, Pompiliu Vrânceanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sincraieni and the Batrinu AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 31st minute, Pompiliu Vrânceanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robert Baștină showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Vrânceanu in the 34th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pompiliu Vrânceanu in the 35th minute of play forced Batrinu AFC's goalkeeper Robert Baștină to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Horia Sitaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robert Baștină saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sincraieni booed when Batrinu AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Chinezu didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valentin Toacsen was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Pompiliu Vrânceanu got free with Robert Baștină in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pompiliu Vrânceanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Baștină having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Batrinu AFC's Sergiu Macavei got a free kick in the 91st minute. 95 minutes into the game, Adam Negrițoiu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Batrinu AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sincraieni the free kick. In the 95th match minute, Batrinu AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adam Negrițoiu to maneuver through the defense. After 96 played minutes Batrinu AFC got a freekick which was hit by Romeo Chinezu. Sincraieni's Pompiliu Vrânceanu got a good chance for a goal in the 99th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sincraieni played a much better game than Batrinu AFC and deserved their victory. The Batrinu AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
