With his leg Ştefan Doroftei managed to avoid a goal in the 6thth minute, when Alergătorii go pro's Nechifor Badea fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Nechifor Badea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alergătorii go pro's supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Badea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Doroftei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mihăiţă Nistor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marin Mereuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th match minute, Alungeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gelu Jucu to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Jano Motta in the 13th minute really tested Ştefan Doroftei's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Alergătorii go pro's Mihăiţă Nistor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marin Mereuță in the 14th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Pieter-Jan Bulder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Alergătorii go pro's Mitchell Wielens got a free kick in the 17th minute. The audience was convinced that Nechifor Badea's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ştefan Doroftei was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Ştefan Doroftei as he didn't even see the shot coming.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marin Mereuță was the one to do the kick off. If Toader Luțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alergătorii go pro's Nechifor Badea in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 60thth minute of the game Nechifor Badea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alungeni's Ştefan Doroftei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Marin Mereuță struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Mihăiţă Nistor didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alungeni. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Dorel Papadache managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alergătorii go pro's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Papadache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ştefan Doroftei breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nechifor Badea in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ştefan Doroftei prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 90th minute Dorel Papadache shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ştefan Doroftei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Alergătorii go pro's Nechifor Badea in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alungeni's goalie prevented a goal. In the 97thth minute of the game Nechifor Badea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alungeni's Ştefan Doroftei was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Alergătorii go pro fully deserved thier win.
