Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marin Mereuță kicked off to start the match. If Toader Luțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 9th minute, Toader Luțu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th match minute, Vavalucile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petruț Hârciog to maneuver through the defense. Toader Luțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 15th minute, Toader Luțu made a precise shot to the right of Nae Ogică. Vavalucile's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Toader Luțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Ogică having to interfere. When Marin Mereuță came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Alungeni fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marin Mereuță couldn't finish the play. Nae Ogică was a little too slow when Marin Mereuță got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 2-0. Nae Ogică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marin Mereuță in the 30th minute of play. Marin Mereuță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Tudor Caranfil made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Alungeni booed when Vavalucile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Văduvescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Luțu's late challenge caught a Vavalucile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Toader Luțu helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Alungeni's Toader Luțu got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Alungeni getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Sandu Ichim hit a great ball. Marin Mereuță struck a weak shot in the 62nd minute. Nae Ogică didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Alungeni. Tudor Caranfil recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 69 minutes into the game, Marin Mereuță cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Nae Ogică was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marin Mereuță might have been able to make a better finish in the 74th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nae Ogică. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marin Mereuță ran back to his position shaking his head. Aurelian Văduvescu kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. It was beautiful to see Alungeni's Tiberiu Bouleanu in action when he in the 77th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! After 78 played minutes Vavalucile got a freekick which was hit by Petruț Hârciog. 80 minutes into the match, Marin Mereuță had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nae Ogică. Vavalucile's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marin Mereuță was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Toader Luțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nae Ogică having to interfere. In the 87th minute Marin Mereuță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nae Ogică saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, Alungeni's Marin Mereuță nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nae Ogică made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. Nae Ogică made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Toader Luțu in the 96th minute of play. After 98 minutes Vavalucile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tiberiu Bouleanu who took care of the corner kick. Alungeni's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
