Spectators: 6694 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1694, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicu Posteucă started the match with the kick off. Iurie Corbea hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gabriel Lăcătușu in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicolae Burtescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With his leg Dan Mircescu managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Stramba's Francisc Ploieșteanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Nicu Posteucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Mircescu having to interfere. When Nicu Posteucă came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Stramba fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Nicu Posteucă couldn't finish the play. Nicolae Burtescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eduard Vlădoiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 21st minute, Ioan Burca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Zorlincior's Traian Gliga couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Stramba. Gabriel Lăcătușu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduard Vlădoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisc Ploieșteanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 32nd playminute. Thanks to some nice moves Francisc Ploieșteanu could shoot a difficult shot in the 35th minute, which Dan Mircescu however easily saved by the left post. Nicolae Burtescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gabriel Lăcătușu's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. 47 minutes into the match, Stramba's goal looked a bit too open when Eduard Vlădoiu came free, but Nicolae Burtescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eduard Vlădoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Nicolae Burtescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduard Vlădoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nicu Posteucă might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Mircescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicu Posteucă ran back to his position shaking his head. Gabriel Lăcătușu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Burtescu having to interfere. In the 67th minute, Zorlincior's Eduard Vlădoiu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. Eduard Vlădoiu kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Nicolae Burtescu made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Gabriel Lăcătușu sent off a good shot on target. Emanuel Vulcan kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Francisc Ploieșteanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Niculae Cârnu hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. 88 minutes into the match, Stramba's goalkeeper Nicolae Burtescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gabriel Lăcătușu. Zorlincior's Dan Mircescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicu Posteucă in the 90th minute of play. With a little luck, Stramba's Nicolae Burtescu got control of the ball when Gabriel Lăcătușu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Francisc Ploieșteanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Mircescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisc Ploieșteanu ran back to his position shaking his head. Nicu Posteucă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Mircescu having to interfere. Francisc Ploieșteanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Zorlincior walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
