Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nicu Posteucă in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mădălin Martinaș prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dobrosesti CSS's Andrei Ifrim got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Andrei Ifrim charged in rather forcefully in the 17th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andrei Ifrim the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dobrosesti CSS getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Andrei Ifrim hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Francisc Ploieșteanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stramba's supporters rose to their feet, but Francisc Ploieșteanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Martinaș breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Dobrosesti CSS's Gelu Ifrim got a free kick in the 29th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Francisc Ploieșteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mădălin Martinaș. Dobrosesti CSS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Francisc Ploieșteanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Andrei Ifrim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolae Burtescu having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Andrei Ifrim fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Nicolae Burtescu, passed just outside the right post. In the 48th minute, Ioan Burca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dobrosesti CSS's Eliodor Bejgăneanu got a good chance for a goal in the 50th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Dobrosesti CSS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Stramba were winning 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nicu Posteucă to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Nicu Posteucă's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mădălin Martinaș was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. 62 minutes into the match, Dobrosesti CSS's goal looked a bit too open when Ioan Burca came free, but Mădălin Martinaș reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nicolae Burtescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Ifrim in the 98th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Stramba were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Dobrosesti CSS side.
