Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dorel Siniştean started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eric Barbălată in the 6th minute of play forced Turbatu FCM's goalkeeper Marian Honcioiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octav Mărăscu took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Ielciu. Denis Ielciu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Dorel Siniştean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marian Honcioiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Dorel Siniştean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. The supporters of Turbatu FCM booed when Luna AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petrică Iliuță didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Emanuel Pancu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Octav Mărăscu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Ielciu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Luna AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vasile Păsărin to maneuver through the defense. Denis Ielciu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leonard Ionaș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tudor Ulici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Denis Ielciu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 30 minutes, Octav Mărăscu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Turbatu FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Mărăscu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Filip Stoleru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luna AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Turbatu FCM the free kick. After a rather tough play, Luna AFC's Filip Stoleru got a free kick in the 34th minute. When Leonard Ionaș came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Turbatu FCM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Ionaș couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Turbatu FCM defense, Luca Istrăteanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marian Honcioiu. The Turbatu FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marian Honcioiu should have stopped the shot. In the 41st minute, Eric Barbălată hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute of the match Leonard Ionaș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Denis Ielciu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Eric Barbălată received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marian Honcioiu came out and tried to block the shot, but Eric Barbălată slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 48th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Emanuel Pancu to make the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Turbatu FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Dorel Siniştean came free, but Marian Honcioiu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dorel Siniştean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Honcioiu having to interfere. Turbatu FCM's Marian Honcioiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eric Barbălată in the 83rd minute of play. 88 minutes into the game, Luna AFC's Luca Istrăteanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marian Honcioiu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 8-1.
