Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Grojdibodu AS's goalkeeper Aristide Staicu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 78th minute Sergiu Buculeasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Poalelungi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Grojdibodu AS defense, Dorel Mitruț kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Staicu. The Grojdibodu AS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Staicu should have stopped the shot. After 86 minutes, Waldemar Ankiewicz made it 4-4 with a short kick to the right side. Grojdibodu AS's Aristide Staicu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, Waldemar Ankiewicz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danceni's supporters crossed their fingers, but Waldemar Ankiewicz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Grojdibodu AS had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
