Spectators: 1000 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Olosig's David Tănasă started the match with a crisp pass. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sergiu Muntian couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Vlad Curuțiu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of CF Targoviste's Petre Valerian. Petre Valerian was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, Olosig's Sandu Manea got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Olosig's goalkeeper Gavril Șipoș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valentin Popete. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Olosig's goalkeeper Gavril Șipoș, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Valentin Popete received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Gavril Șipoș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 44 played minutes Olosig got a freekick which was hit by Narcis Râznicu. The audience was convinced that Iordache Chira's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gavril Șipoș was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. Sergiu Muntian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Gavril Șipoș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

52 minutes into the game, Costică Bianu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Olosig's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CF Targoviste the free kick. After 52 played minutes Olosig got a freekick which was hit by Costică Bianu. Gavril Șipoș came out of the goal in the 55th minute to try and stop a shot by CF Targoviste's Iordache Chira. But to his dismay, Iordache Chira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Gavril Șipoș took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Popete, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gavril Șipoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Popescu in the 62nd minute of play. In the 63rd minute, Sergiu Muntian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Iordache Chira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Popete in the 68th minute of play forced Olosig's goalkeeper Gavril Șipoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Iordache Chira's late challenge caught a Olosig's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Iordache Chira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 70th minute, Iordache Chira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 76th minute, Valentin Popete got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Olosig getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Petre Buzatu hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valentin Popete in the 88th minute of play forced Olosig's goalkeeper Gavril Șipoș to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Iordache Chira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavril Șipoș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Muntian in the 93rd minute of the match. Gavril Șipoș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigi Popescu in the 94th minute of play. CF Targoviste's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
