After a rather tough play, Dirja FC's Stelian Astafei got a free kick in the 9th minute. Olosig's Narcis Râznicu pulled a muscle in his leg after 14 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Gheorghe Spiridon charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gheorghe Spiridon the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Dirja FC getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Gheorghe Spiridon hit a great ball. Petruț Ivăncioiu hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Petruț Ivăncioiu kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Vlad Curuțiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Paraschivescu having to interfere. Călin Scutaru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gavril Șipoș having to make a save. In the 39th minute, Aurelian Huștiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Gavril Șipoș was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Călin Scutaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After having played for 57 minutes, Călin Scutaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dirja FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Scutaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gabriel Paraschivescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Bianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 73rd match minute, Olosig was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Tănasă to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Costică Bianu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olosig's supporters rose to their feet, but Costică Bianu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gabriel Paraschivescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Călin Scutaru got free with Gavril Șipoș in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dinu Petran hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Chants of Dirja FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as Olosig had held the ball for most of the match.
