Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) In the 4th minute, Ştefan Enoaia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Ştefan Enoaia had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gunnar Fredriksson. Dataseni UFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ştefan Enoaia was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Laurențiu Unchiaşu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Cornel Chiuzbaian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurențiu Unchiaşu scored 1-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Cornel Chiuzbaian, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, FC Star Bucharest's Octavian Uncuţă got a free kick in the 18th minute. Gunnar Fredriksson stood somewhat misplaced when Iordache Negruț came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 23 minute. With his leg Gunnar Fredriksson managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when FC Star Bucharest's Ştefan Enoaia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ştefan Enoaias short, quick shot in the 35thth minute got Gunnar Fredriksson to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ştefan Enoaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Doru Oncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Codrin Ghioncu kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. When Laurențiu Unchiaşu came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Dataseni UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Laurențiu Unchiaşu couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Laurențiu Unchiaşu made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in FC Star Bucharest's zone, Doru Oncu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornel Chiuzbaian came out of the goal and Doru Oncu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 54 minutes into the match, Dataseni UFC's Laurențiu Unchiaşu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornel Chiuzbaian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 57th minute, Doru Oncu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornel Chiuzbaian was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Cornel Chiuzbaian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laurențiu Unchiaşu, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Doru Oncu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cornel Chiuzbaian having to interfere. Doru Oncu took the ball and in the 64 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cornel Chiuzbaian. Cornel Chiuzbaian dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-3. In the 68th match minute, Dataseni UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Bobeanu to maneuver through the defense. When Dataseni UFC's Laurențiu Unchiaşu in the 71st minute got a chance for a shot 71st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Star Bucharest's goalie prevented a goal. Ştefan Enoaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gunnar Fredriksson having to interfere. 74 minutes into the match, FC Star Bucharest's goal looked a bit too open when Laurențiu Unchiaşu came free, but Cornel Chiuzbaian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Octav Bodiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Gunnar Fredriksson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dataseni UFC booed when FC Star Bucharest was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Sandu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute Dataseni UFC were awarded a corner. Stefan Engman went to the cornerflag to take it. A well done corner resulted in Vasile Pintea drilling the ball in to score 3-4 behind FC Star Bucharest's goalkeeper. Doru Oncu might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cornel Chiuzbaian. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Doru Oncu ran back to his position shaking his head. If Laurențiu Unchiaşu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The FC Star Bucharest supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dataseni UFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Dataseni UFC.
