The referee showed Eduard Eftimescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Glogovet getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Eduard Eftimescu hit a great ball. Pompiliu Gane showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pompiliu Stamate in the 8th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Glogovet's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Grzegorz Mac Donald fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. With a little luck, Glogovet's Vlad Blejan got control of the ball when Grzegorz Mac Donald tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nicu Valerian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grzegorz Mac Donald in the 24thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Vlad Blejan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicu Valerian in the 32nd minute of play. Pompiliu Stamate received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Pompiliu Gane tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Valerian struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Vlad Blejan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for POLI2. Grzegorz Mac Donald recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The supporters of Glogovet booed when POLI2 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denis Banciu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vlad Blejan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Nicu Valerian managed to get in a good position for a shot. POLI2's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicu Valerian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vlad Blejan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 82 played minutes Glogovet got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Hosu. POLI2 walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
