Spectators: 5510 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 10) Emil Stanić made the kick off and thus started the match. Ştefan Mitu came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Roty FC's Fábio Aguiar. But to his dismay, Fábio Aguiar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. After 10 minutes of play, Poli Timisoara's Cristian Gaiță made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcel Baltian was left in no man's land by his defense there! 12 minutes into the game, Poli Timisoara's Doru Cârnu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcel Baltian made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cristian Gaiță in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Baltian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute, Doru Cârnu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Poli Timisoara fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Cristian Gaiță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. David Lupea hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute, Doru Cârnu made a precise shot to the right of Marcel Baltian. Roty FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 32 minutes into the match, Roty FC's goal looked a bit too open when Doru Cârnu came free, but Marcel Baltian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sabin Rioşanu in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcel Baltian prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcel Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Cârnu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th match minute, Roty FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Stanić to maneuver through the defense. Marcel Baltian made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Gaiță in the 38th minute of play. Mugur Pușcariu kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Marcel Baltian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Gaiță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fábio Aguiar was extremely unlucky when he, in the 48th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cristian Gaiță stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 60th minute Cristian Gaiță shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcel Baltian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Cristian Gaiță reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Marcel Baltian. The goal made the score 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Doru Cârnu in the 69th minute of play forced Roty FC's goalkeeper Marcel Baltian to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Roty FC's Marcel Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Gaiță in the 75th minute of play. Marcel Baltian was out of position in the 79 minute of play, and Cristian Gaiță capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Gaiță really showed his touch with that goal: 2-6. 86 minutes into the game, Sabin Rioşanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Poli Timisoara's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Roty FC the free kick. After 86 played minutes Poli Timisoara got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Rioşanu. Roty FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Eliodor Țepeluș scored to the left of an out of position Marcel Baltian, making the score, 2-8. 96 minutes into the match, Doru Cârnu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcel Baltian, 2-9. Poli Timisoara played a much better game than Roty FC and deserved their victory. The Roty FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
