Sever Arnăutu charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sever Arnăutu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Fábio Aguiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristi Onete blasted a shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Niculae Hurezan having to make a save. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 84th minute of the game. One of Roty FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sohatul:s goal. Sohatul's Niculae Hurezan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Sohatul from getting a goal against them. 91 minutes into the match, Emil Stanić dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Niculae Hurezan, 4-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Sohatul were victorious despite being under pressure from Roty FC for much of the match.
