Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's Bogdan Agudin started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Matei Praporgescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Denis Simion was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. Denis Simion made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Ulici in the 4th minute. In the 5th minute, Matei Praporgescu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Denis Simion. The goal made the score 1-0. Toader Răţescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Agudin in the 13th minute of the match. Iacob Vintilă hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Matei Praporgescu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Denis Simion. That made the score 2-0 in the 22 minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's goalkeeper Denis Simion had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matei Praporgescu. FC Zidurii's Toader Răţescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bogdan Agudin in the 31st minute of play. In the 32nd play minute Victor Ulici came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Denis Simion. 3-0. 37 minutes into the game, Dumitru Marchidan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Zidurii's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE the free kick. Călin Anastasiu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 38th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When the match had gone on for 41 minutes, Matei Praporgescu took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Denis Simion to make any attempt to save it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 5-0 at half-time.

Iacob Vintilă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Toader Răţescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Ulici in the 56th minute of play forced EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's goalkeeper Denis Simion to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 57 minutes, Matei Praporgescu made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's Denis Simion tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Denis Simion made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dumitru Marchidan in the 60th minute of play. After 66 played minutes EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE got a freekick which was hit by Iacob Vintilă. Denis Simion showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Victor Ulici in the 78th minute of the match. If Matei Praporgescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Victor Ulici who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's Denis Simion was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 84 minutes into the match, EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Mîțu came free, but Denis Simion reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Victor Ulici shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Simion saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Victor Ulici made a precise shot to the right of Denis Simion. EXCAVATORUL SANTA FE's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Denis Simion showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Ulici, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Denis Covataru could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Toader Răţescu made a huge save. When Victor Ulici came up free with the goalie in the 98th minute, the FC Zidurii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Ulici couldn't finish the play. When the referee ended the match the FC Zidurii players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
