Cristian Ghionescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihai Turbatu having to interfere. In the 15th match minute, Phoenix Seini MM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Traian Tatulici to maneuver through the defense. Gelu Harbuz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 28 minutes into the game, Mihnea Jucan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Satucul CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Phoenix Seini MM the free kick. In the 28th match minute, Satucul CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Jucan to maneuver through the defense. Satucul CSM's Albert Rucăreanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Harbuz in the 29th minute of play. After 34 played minutes, Phoenix Seini MM's Cosmin Ungur shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Albert Rucăreanu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Phoenix Seini MM reached it. In the 36thth minute of the game Claudiu Chindriș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Satucul CSM's Albert Rucăreanu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Gelu Harbuz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Rucăreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Harbuz in the 44th minute of the match. After 49 minutes of play, Phoenix Seini MM's Claudiu Chindriș made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Albert Rucăreanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Cristian Ghionescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Mihai Turbatu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cătălin Teodor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd minute, Traian Tatulici hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 64 minutes into the match, Satucul CSM's Basarab Păsărin broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Teodor Macovescu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Basarab Păsărin, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Albert Rucăreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Chindriș, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Traian Tatulici during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Albert Rucăreanu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Claudiu Chindriș's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Satucul CSM's zone, Gelu Harbuz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Albert Rucăreanu came out of the goal and Gelu Harbuz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 98th minute of the match Teodor Macovescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Albert Rucăreanu skillfully saved the ball. Mihai Turbatu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Ghionescu in the 99th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
