Nicolae Bogdănescu started the match with the kick off. After 5 played minutes FC Utvin got a freekick which was hit by Horaţiu Greculescu. In the 9th minute, Teodor Tofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Remus Biriș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudiu Glodeanu in the 10th minute of the match. Teodor Tofan kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Paul Herescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teodor Tofan, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iordache Mischie got free with Remus Biriș in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Claudiu Glodeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Biriș having to interfere. Teodor Tofan might have been able to make a better finish in the 25th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paul Herescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Teodor Tofan ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Ailincai in the 27th minute of play forced FC Utvin's goalkeeper Paul Herescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee felt a red card was in order, 29 minutes into the game, when Eduardo Leão put in a rough tackle. A collision led to FC Utvin getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. FC Utvin's Paul Herescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save FC Utvin from getting a goal against them. Iordache Mischie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Remus Biriș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
