When Anton Potopea came up free with the goalie in the 2nd minute, the Corona BV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Potopea couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Lazaresti FCM's zone, Iurie Martin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Isac Tâbârnă came out of the goal and Iurie Martin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Maxim Gheorghiță hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the match, Lazaresti FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Carlos Gardel came free, but Isac Tâbârnă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Astafei in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isac Tâbârnă prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isac Tâbârnă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carlos Gardel in the 13th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Costel Astafei in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Isac Tâbârnă saved Lazaresti FCM from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Ciprian Horia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Tâbârnă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Astafei, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. 19 minutes into the match, Lazaresti FCM's goal looked a bit too open when Costel Astafei came free, but Isac Tâbârnă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costel Astafei in the 20th minute of play forced Lazaresti FCM's goalkeeper Isac Tâbârnă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Lazaresti FCM's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Costel Astafei was slow to take the kick. During this time Corona BV's players had a chance to rest. Anton Potopea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Isac Tâbârnă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Astafei's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. If Iurie Martin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corona BV's Anton Potopea got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 32 minutes, Iurie Martin managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corona BV's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iurie Martin was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 33 played minutes Lazaresti FCM got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Gheorghiță. In the 35th match minute, Lazaresti FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristinel Țepeluș to maneuver through the defense. Isac Tâbârnă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Astafei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 36 minutes into the match, Costel Astafei notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Lazaresti FCM's Isac Tâbârnă. Isac Tâbârnă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Corona BV booed when Lazaresti FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristinel Țepeluș didn't get a good kick on the ball. Carlos Gardel scored 0-3 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Isac Tâbârnă, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Anton Potopea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Isac Tâbârnă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute, Corona BV's Costel Astafei ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Isac Tâbârnă. Isac Tâbârnă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. Carlos Gardel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Isac Tâbârnă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlos Gardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute, Costel Astafei got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lazaresti FCM getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Ciprian Horia hit a great ball. Isac Tâbârnă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Astafei, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Isac Tâbârnă stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costel Astafei's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. In the 86th minute, Gică Traianescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sorin Pană was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Corona BV's Andrei Todea was substituted for Stelian Bejenaru. Corona BV made a substitution. Cosmin Isopescu replaced Mircea Cernea. Carlos Gardel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Lazaresti FCM fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Corona BV were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
