Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sorin Roşulescu kicked off to start the match. Petru Antonescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Rădulescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Gradinele CSM's Sorin Roşulescu in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roscari CSS's goalie prevented a goal. Basarab Muntean hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 12th minute Iustinian Hojbota suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Codruț Pricop's late challenge caught a Gradinele CSM's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Codruț Pricop helped the player get up and apologised. Gradinele CSM's Nicolae Jecu was substituted for Iustinian Hojbota. In the 13th match minute, Roscari CSS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Codruț Pricop to maneuver through the defense. After 14 played minutes Roscari CSS got a freekick which was hit by Marcu Honcioiu. Nicolae Jecu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Iustinian Cristescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roscari CSS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sorin Roşulescu 20 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Marcu Honcioiu kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Grigore Pandele struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Iustinian Cristescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gradinele CSM. If Sorin Roşulescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Gradinele CSM booed when Roscari CSS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Honcioiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sorin Roşulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigore Pandele could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Iustinian Cristescu made a huge save. Petru Antonescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cătălin Mendrea in the 41st minute of play. Iustinian Cristescu made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Grigore Pandele sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cătălin Mendrea made a kick off. Sorin Roşulescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Gradinele CSM's Sorin Roşulescu in 58 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Iustinian Cristescu guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. After a rather tough play, Gradinele CSM's Grigore Pandele got a free kick in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Roscari CSS's Marcu Honcioiu got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After some careless play in the Gradinele CSM defense, Emil Rădulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petru Antonescu. The Gradinele CSM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petru Antonescu should have stopped the shot. Emil Târlea charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Emil Târlea the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Grigore Pandele took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustinian Cristescu. Iustinian Cristescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When the referee ended the match the Gradinele CSM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
