In the 14th match minute, OLIMPIA BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mugurel Costa to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute, Eduard Bărbătescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, OLIMPIA BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Damian Buhuș had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Albert Ursulescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Albert Ursulescu got free with Damian Buhuș in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 27 minutes into the match, United 1906's goal looked a bit too open when Eliodor Ciocârlan came free, but Aron Stoicănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Iosif Puric struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Aron Stoicănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLIMPIA BUCURESTI. Manole Alamaru kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. But to his dismay, Albert Ursulescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 44 minutes, Romeo Banu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the OLIMPIA BUCURESTI and the United 1906 players grew even worse after the yellow card.

The wind increased when Iosif Puric made the kick off in the second half. Damian Buhuș showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albert Ursulescu in the 52nd minute of the match. Romeo Banu hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. When Romeo Banu was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 54 minutes had been played. United 1906's defense didn't have a chance, in the 64th minute, when Eliodor Ciocârlan scored to the left of an out of position Aron Stoicănescu, making the score, 2-1. Damian Buhuș made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisc Niță in the 74th minute of play. Manole Alamaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Iosif Puric shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Stoicănescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in OLIMPIA BUCURESTI's zone, Francisc Niță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damian Buhuș came out of the goal and Francisc Niță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd match minute, OLIMPIA BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Petre Iftode to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Albert Ursulescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Damian Buhuș was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. After some careless play in the OLIMPIA BUCURESTI defense, Albert Ursulescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Damian Buhuș. The OLIMPIA BUCURESTI fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Damian Buhuș should have stopped the shot. For all the effort they put into the match, the OLIMPIA BUCURESTI players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense.
