Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Petre Hurmuzescu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Emanuel Zmărăndache took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Remus Banu. Remus Banu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Romeo Buteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isac Voiculescu having to interfere. Gheorghe Nae received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Isac Voiculescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Cicirlau's goal looked a bit too open when Petre Hurmuzescu came free, but Remus Banu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Francisc Crăciun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, Emanuel Zmărăndache notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cicirlau's Remus Banu. Remus Banu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Cicirlau's goalkeeper Remus Banu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emanuel Zmărăndache. Gheorghe Nae took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Isac Voiculescu. Isac Voiculescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gheorghe Nae stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Cicirlau's zone, Emanuel Zmărăndache stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Remus Banu came out of the goal and Emanuel Zmărăndache tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Petre Hurmuzescu in the 54th minute of play forced Cicirlau's goalkeeper Remus Banu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Petre Hurmuzescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Valentin Ielciu fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cicirlau's protests and gave Valentin Ielciu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Cicirlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Ielciu to maneuver through the defense. In the 60th minute, Radu Șipoș sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cicirlau's Remus Banu didn't even have to move. Remus Banu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Petre Hurmuzescu in the 63rd minute of play. Remus Banu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Acatincăi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Zmărăndache kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Emanuel Zmărăndache came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Crusovul CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Zmărăndache couldn't finish the play. After 76 played minutes Cicirlau got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Ielciu. Cicirlau's Remus Banu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Zmărăndache in the 86th minute of play. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cicirlau's goalkeeper Remus Banu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 91 minutes, Damian Horia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cicirlau and the Crusovul CF players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Cicirlau was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Horia to maneuver through the defense. Damian Horia was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The supporters of Crusovul CF booed when Cicirlau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Horia didn't get a good kick on the ball.
