Arrigo Sampo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. The referee showed Valentin Ielciu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Cicirlau got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Ielciu. 30 minutes into the game, Romeo Buteanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cicirlau's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Los Bilionarios the free kick. Romeo Buteanu hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. If Romeo Druță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Romeo Druță might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Remus Banu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Romeo Druță ran back to his position shaking his head. Remus Banu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Druță in the 41st minute of play. Los Bilionarios's Dorel Ghioncu got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Cicirlau got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Maleș.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gheorghe Nae made a kick off. If Romeo Druță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gheorghe Nae scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arrigo Sampo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Dorel Ghioncu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romeo Druță fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Banu having to interfere. Dorel Ghioncu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Traian Ungureanu kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Traian Ungureanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the match, Cicirlau's goal looked a bit too open when Romeo Druță came free, but Remus Banu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Constantin Cocârlă kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Moise Gheară hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Traian Ungureanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romeo Druță recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Cicirlau support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
