Spectators: 6699 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1699, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mădălin Coșeriu took the kick off in the first half of the match. With his leg Iustinian Costăchescu managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Pogara's Gelu Ciocârlan fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Iustinian Costăchescu made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Gelu Ciocârlan sent off a good shot on target. Pogara's Constantin Teodor pulled a muscle in his back after 6 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Dorel Constantiniu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Mădălin Coșeriu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Iustinian Costăchescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iustinian Costăchescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Coșeriu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Vintilă Dindelegan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gelu Ciocârlan came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Pogara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gelu Ciocârlan couldn't finish the play. Iustinian Costăchescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gelu Ciocârlan in the 27th minute. Nechifor Perșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Dindelegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gelu Ciocârlan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Nechifor in the 45th minute of play forced Pogara's goalkeeper Nechifor Perșa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nechifor Perșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Dindelegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

But to his dismay, Adrian Iacobescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Nechifor Perșa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valeriu Nechifor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Valeriu Nechifor had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gelu Ciocârlan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute.
