After a rather tough play, Bugaru's Dacian Costandin got a free kick in the 3rd minute. In the 8th minute, Andrei Țepelea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Cristinel Zăreanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bugaru's goalkeeper Eusebiu Balint, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. A collision led to Bugaru getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Sandu Tărbac hit a great ball. After 18 played minutes Bugaru got a freekick which was hit by Octav Pășcuțoiu. In the 20th minute, Dinamo's Cristinel Zăreanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Eusebiu Balint. Eusebiu Balint yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Eusebiu Balint made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Senin in the 24th minute of play. Gavril Duldurescu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 25th playminute. In the 33rd minute, Dacian Costandin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eusebiu Balint was a little too slow when Cristinel Zăreanu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-0. Joélson Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eusebiu Balint having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 43 minutes, Sabin Senin took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Eusebiu Balint to make any attempt to save it. Dinamo's Dinu Encea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Mîțu in the 48th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calistrat Budișteanu made a kick off. Cristinel Zăreanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinu Encea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Budișteanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Gavril Duldurescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dacian Costandin charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dacian Costandin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Bugaru's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. If Gavril Duldurescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sandu Tărbac kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. 86 minutes into the game, Dinamo's Gavril Duldurescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eusebiu Balint made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. In the 91st minute Gavril Duldurescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eusebiu Balint saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eusebiu Balint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gavril Duldurescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Dinamo were the better team. Dinamo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
