Spectators: 6541 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC FLAVI's Valeriu Nechifor started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Bugaru's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Nechifor came free, but Eusebiu Balint reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Bugaru getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Sandu Tărbac hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valeriu Nechifor in the 5th minute of play forced Bugaru's goalkeeper Eusebiu Balint to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dinu Dijmărescu's late challenge caught a FC FLAVI's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Dijmărescu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 6th match minute, Bugaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dinu Dijmărescu to maneuver through the defense. Iustinian Costăchescu made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Octav Mîțu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Bugaru booed when FC FLAVI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorel Constantiniu didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Valeriu Nechifor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eusebiu Balint was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Octav Mîțu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eusebiu Balint took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vintilă Dindelegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vintilă Dindelegan struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Eusebiu Balint didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC FLAVI. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Octav Mîțu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bugaru's supporters rose to their feet, but Octav Mîțu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Costăchescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 30 minutes into the match, FC FLAVI's Vintilă Dindelegan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebiu Balint narrowly saved just below the crossbar.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Calistrat Budișteanu made a kick off. Valeriu Nechifor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eusebiu Balint read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 76th minute of play. Vintilă Dindelegan made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 79thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Eusebiu Balint would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After having played for 88 minutes, Teodor Jupân managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC FLAVI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Teodor Jupân was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bugaru's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
