Spectators: 7360 (Terracing: 5521, Seating: 1692, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Valeriu Nechifor kicked off to start the match. Valeriu Nechifor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Uncuţă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Nechifor in the 9th minute of the match. STEAUA's Paul Uncuţă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valeriu Nechifor in the 11th minute of play. When the match clock showed 12 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Armin Nardi sped through FC FLAVI's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Iustinian Costăchescu. In the 17th minute, Armin Nardi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vintilă Dindelegan in the 22nd minute of play forced STEAUA's goalkeeper Paul Uncuţă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Uncuţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Nechifor, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. After 30 played minutes, STEAUA's Cristian Ţintă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iustinian Costăchescu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in STEAUA reached it. When Codrin Giubelean came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the STEAUA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Giubelean couldn't finish the play. In the 34th minute, Armin Nardi made a precise shot to the right of Iustinian Costăchescu. FC FLAVI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. In the 38th minute, Armin Nardi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustinian Costăchescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Paul Uncuţă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Valeriu Nechifor, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. 45 minutes into the match, STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Vintilă Dindelegan came free, but Paul Uncuţă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Codrin Giubelean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Armin Nardi made a kick off. When Armin Nardi came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the STEAUA fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Armin Nardi couldn't finish the play. In the 55th minute of the match Luca Ababei sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iustinian Costăchescu skillfully saved the ball. In the 56th match minute, FC FLAVI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodor Jupân to maneuver through the defense. In the 58th minute, Armin Nardi made a precise shot to the right of Iustinian Costăchescu. FC FLAVI's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. After a rather tough play, FC FLAVI's Teodor Jupân got a free kick in the 61st minute. A collision led to STEAUA getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Costică Donici hit a great ball. The supporters of FC FLAVI booed when STEAUA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armin Nardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, STEAUA's goal looked a bit too open when Valeriu Nechifor came free, but Paul Uncuţă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Vintilă Dindelegan could shoot a difficult shot in the 72nd minute, which Paul Uncuţă however easily saved by the left post. Vintilă Dindelegan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Paul Uncuţă made a huge save. Vintilă Dindelegans short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Paul Uncuţă to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 88th minute, FC FLAVI's Valeriu Nechifor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 5-1. STEAUA's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
