Șerban Antipa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionică Plopan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivan Kováč in the 6th minute of the match. Tipau's defense didn't have a chance, in the 16th minute, when Vali Aluchei scored to the left of an out of position Ionică Plopan, making the score, 1-0. After 19 minutes, Șerban Antipa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tipau and the Satmarel FCM players grew even worse after the yellow card. Șerban Antipa hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Vali Aluchei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Satmarel FCM's supporters rose to their feet, but Vali Aluchei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ionică Plopan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ionică Plopan made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Maxim Ştercă sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 23 minutes, Vali Aluchei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Satmarel FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vali Aluchei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 29th minute, Maxim Ştercă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Satmarel FCM's Avram Giurcă got a free kick in the 31st minute. After a defensive mix-up in Satmarel FCM's zone, Damian Banu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iustin Vlaicu came out of the goal and Damian Banu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Tipau booed when Satmarel FCM was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Avram Giurcă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 35th minute of the match Marius Ferenț sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Iustin Vlaicu skillfully saved the ball. When Boris Petrus fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Satmarel FCM's protests and gave Boris Petrus a yellow card for diving instead. Maxim Ştercă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ivan Kováč kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When Tipau's Marius Ferenț in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Ştercă made a kick off. Ionică Plopan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marius Ferenț came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Tipau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marius Ferenț couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute Vali Aluchei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Plopan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iurie Gherdan charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iurie Gherdan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Maxim Ştercă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Satmarel FCM's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Marius Ferenț fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Satmarel FCM's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
