MEDGIDIA booed when CSU.Craiova was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rufus Slater didn't get a good kick on the ball. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Verzea to make the kick off. Ur Pedroso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eric Drăucean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. When Felix Udrescu fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CSU.Craiova's protests and gave Felix Udrescu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to CSU.Craiova getting a freekick after 87 minutes play.
