Iustinian Purcărete breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Iordache Coporan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Iustinian Purcărete tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, C.D Vall D Alba's Iustinian Purcărete threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Vasile Bunescu, which otherwise would have been placed in the net.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Codrin Coșmeanu made a kick off. A collision led to Arghirescu AS getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Manole Avacariței hit a great ball. Iordache Coporan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st minute Iordache Coporan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iustinian Purcărete saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Codrin Coșmeanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Aluncai having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, C.D Vall D Alba's goalkeeper Mădălin Aluncai had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valer Curcă. In the 89th minute, Manole Buculeasa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Valer Curcă sped through C.D Vall D Alba's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mădălin Aluncai. Iustinian Purcărete showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Coporan, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The C.D Vall D Alba fans cheered their team off the field, for while Arghirescu AS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
