The referee ignored UTA Arad's protests and gave Avram Uduleanu a yellow card for diving instead. Marcu Pogea might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihnea Toader. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcu Pogea ran back to his position shaking his head. Iraitz Mondejar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alin Apetroaiei in the 19th minute of the match.
