It was a penalty for Vintulesti! 8 minutes into the match, Miheleu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rareș Nicorici came free, but Radu Ibrișin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aurel Hănescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Minteuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Popescu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Vintulesti's Aurel Hănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Burtea in the 14th minute of play. Paul Burtea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Hănescu having to interfere. Cristi Firu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Paul Burtea struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Aurel Hănescu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miheleu FC. Aurel Hănescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Burtea in the 40th minute of the match. If Paul Burtea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Francisc Minteuan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Paul Burtea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Hănescu having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francisc Minteuan was the one to do the kick off. When Gică Rădescu fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vintulesti's protests and gave Gică Rădescu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 52nd match minute, Vintulesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gică Rădescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 53rd minute, Francisc Minteuan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Francisc Minteuan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurel Hănescu. That made the score 0-2 in the 58 minute of play. Vintulesti's Aurel Hănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Vintulesti from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Burtea in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Aurel Hănescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Aurel Hănescu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Francisc Minteuan showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-4 in the 71 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Vintulesti's Gică Rădescu got a free kick in the 74th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Vintulesti's goal looked a bit too open when Francisc Minteuan came free, but Aurel Hănescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute, Costin Neagu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Miheleu FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Vintulesti's Aurel Hănescu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Vintulesti from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Miheleu FC booed when Vintulesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Tache didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 92nd minute, Miheleu FC's Francisc Minteuan ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Aurel Hănescu. Aurel Hănescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-7. Aurel Hănescu was a little too slow when Eric Huțupan got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 96th minute. The score was now 0-8. Miheleu FC played a much better game than Vintulesti and deserved their victory. The Vintulesti players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
