In the 4th minute, one of F.C.Kraszna:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for F.C.Kraszna. When the match had been going on for 6 minutes, FC Efervescent's Emanuel Zăvoianu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Manuel Dăscălescu. The audience thought a goal was coming when Novak Djokovic got free with Manuel Dăscălescu in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Grigore Bocu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 16 minutes into the match, F.C.Kraszna's goal looked a bit too open when Velichko Vlasarev came free, but Manuel Dăscălescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 17th minute Olimpiu Bobariu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Dăscălescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Dăscălescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Velichko Vlasarev in the 18th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Velichko Vlasarev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Dăscălescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velichko Vlasarev got in the 26th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Manuel Dăscălescu handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. F.C.Kraszna's Manuel Dăscălescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Zăvoianu in the 28th minute of play. After 28 played minutes F.C.Kraszna got a freekick which was hit by Gigel Tudorică. Manuel Dăscălescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuel Zăvoianu, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. FC Efervescent's Velichko Vlasarev got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Manuel Dăscălescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuel Zăvoianu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costel Zamfira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 42nd minute, FC Efervescent's Velichko Vlasarev ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Manuel Dăscălescu. Manuel Dăscălescu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. 47 minutes into the match, F.C.Kraszna's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Zăvoianu came free, but Manuel Dăscălescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vítor Ferro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Vítor Ferro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flavius Mirciu having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuel Zăvoianu in the 60th minute of play forced F.C.Kraszna's goalkeeper Manuel Dăscălescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of FC Efervescent booed when F.C.Kraszna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Tudorică didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Emanuel Zăvoianu came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the FC Efervescent fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Zăvoianu couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, F.C.Kraszna's Vítor Ferro got a free kick in the 75th minute.
