Manuel Goga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octav Hosu in the 44th minute of the match. After having played for 47 minutes, Irinel Chirea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cocs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Irinel Chirea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Isac Oltean stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octav Hosu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manuel Goga having to interfere. Isac Oltean struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Marian Deliman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nicula SC. Isac Oltean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Marian Deliman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Nicula SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marin Butuc to maneuver through the defense. 64 minutes into the match, Isac Oltean notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of FC Cocs's Marian Deliman. Marian Deliman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Irinel Chirea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 86 minutes, Octav Hosu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Cocs's supporters crossed their fingers, but Octav Hosu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Octav Hosu came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the FC Cocs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octav Hosu couldn't finish the play. 1-3 became the score in the 92nd minute when Irinel Chirea elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Nicula SC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
