Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Pompiliu Preda got the match started through his kick off. Piatra AFC's Mugurel Zaharia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeferson Hames in the 3rd minute of play. After 4 played minutes Piatra AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ionel Dicu. A collision led to Piatra AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Mihail Onea hit a great ball. 10 minutes into the game, Pompiliu Preda recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Bogdan Fenici. Pompiliu Preda showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 16 minutes into the match, Piatra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Hames came free, but Mugurel Zaharia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelu Dumitrana struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Mugurel Zaharia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACS Timisoara. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Piatra AFC's goalkeeper Mugurel Zaharia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mugurel Zaharia dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. 44 minutes into the match, Piatra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Gelu Dumitrana came free, but Mugurel Zaharia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Piatra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Vasile Chițu came free, but Mugurel Zaharia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Nedim Üstay really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. 66 minutes into the match, ACS Timisoara's Jeferson Hames sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mugurel Zaharia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 71 minutes, Ahmet Nedim Üstay managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ACS Timisoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ahmet Nedim Üstay was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 79 minutes into the match, Piatra AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jeferson Hames came free, but Mugurel Zaharia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Jeferson Hames got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ahmet Nedim Üstay struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Mugurel Zaharia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACS Timisoara. Piatra AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Jeferson Hames scored to the left of an out of position Mugurel Zaharia, making the score, 1-5. ACS Timisoara played a much better game than Piatra AFC and deserved their victory. The Piatra AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
